Unexpect Forum

Now, after many, many listenings, I can write it: this album is even better than "In A Flesh Aquarium".
It took so much time to say it because I just couldn't believe it... I mean, this is one of the most perfect album I've ever heard!
My favourites... Maybe "Words", "Mechanical Phoenix", "The Quantum Symphony" and "Unfed Pendulum"... I really cannot choose! Also the last epic one is faboulous...

So:
-Musically, perfect, I love all the single parts of it, all the single instruments and voices of it and none would ever tire me;
-Lyrically, perfect too, you got to challenge my neuronal paths the right way leading to an over-production of joy and excitement of my organism after each listening.

EDIT after many thousands seconds: are the lyrics of "Mechanical Phoenix" inspired by Pirandello's "One, No one and One Hundred Thousand"? Some parts are very similar to the end of the novel...

my favorite parts right now are that samba from hell at "when the joyful dead are dancing" (no wonder why the dead went to dance) and that unfed pendulum part when they say "destabilization of the gapless mechanism: complete" and then the violin and the drums kick in

Man, this album is just way too good! The ending track might just be my favorite Unexpect moment ever... so EPIC!!

Damn I hope it's not right, what was the order in which the songs appeared ?
They were fine in Itunes and other programs, but I haven't tried WMP.

Oh, I almost forgot, I recently donated too (well it's not my fault that you sell the new album so cheap  ) 75 CAD. That's basically how much I've won (considering only money, there were other things I got) in a programming competition with my processor partially inspired by Unexpect in district and regional rounds and now I'm sitting in a bus going to the nationa round, so if I'll win (presentation is at saturday) I'll make another donation, so I can match our Gorille friend here  :-)

You deserve it, especially when I consider, that Fables are just fraction of what I payed for Portal 2 for example and it has minimally the same, most probably greater actual value.  :-)

Yep, I stand on the accusation bench for that part. Thanks for loving it...there will probably be more of this in the future as I enjoyed myself too much doing it.
