I was looking for Avant-Garde Metal bands and did a search on Google and came across a link for Desert Urbania on a forum. I clicked it, listened, and was highly intrigued. I DLed the album, listened some more, then went out and bought it. I can honestly say that I've never heard anything else like it and still haven't.

Though the progressive nation tour.. In Holland it featured Unexpect, Bigelf, Opeth and ofcourse DT themselves... I didn't know Unexpect and Bigelf yet, so I downloaded (sorry!) their albums for a quick listen.. which I forgot to do. Then at te concert one of our tickets didn't work, and a unknown stranger helped us out by giving us some tickets for FREE, (never got the chance to thank him) but that took some time, and Unexpect just finished playing, so I completely missed them.
A few months later I listened In a Flesh Aquarium during a game of COD, and I was sold.. bought the album the same week :-)

I'd heard them on myspace a few years ago (back when you could download songs :P)... I think before In a Flesh Aquarium was out. Had both on my iPod and was like "yea this is pretty cool". Then forgot about it. Few years later went out to by a Sleepytime Gorilla Museum album (who would later come on to become my...gods), store didn't have any SGM, had IaFA though. Thought "yea, this will do". Bought it, was blown away, fan ever since ;D

At 2006/7, a friend of mine sent me this youtube video... Well... I cursed at him not for sending it to me earlier!
