Misteur Valaire ... 7 or 8 buddies in that band playing Electro Jazz and their album is free on their main website.

First, I prefer Stravinsky's Firebird, though Rite of Spring is epic as well.

Melechesh- Emissaries: Amazing Blackened Thrash band that plays the most wondrous Mesopotamian folk metal in an aggressive, yet melodic way. Loving it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0e86M61_08
Mr. Bungle- All: If you don't know who they are, you'd better give it a listen. Fusion of genres from metal to polka to avant-garde to middle eastern to surfer rock and quite a few things in between. Very influential in the realm of avant-garde metal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18wHoMOBPh4
Diablo Swing Orchestra- All: Quite sure that many are familiar with the unique fusion of swing, opera, european folk, metal, and other influences that this band has to offer. Both of their CDs are quite catchy and entertaining: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osTu38yuuHo
O'Death- Broken Hymns...: A dark mix of Americana with some punk and metal influences creates a mix so foot-tapping that your limbs won't be able to contain themselves. Give it a listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRaiPCFTw-0
